We approached Sharon, owner of The White Elephant Company, after we saw her impressive work for our May photo shoot. We are always on the lookout for new, fresh styles and we think Sharon is a visionary. The combination of organic textures (woven baskets, woods, and plants), with brass and gold metals creates an inviting and natural look that have carried us away. Her styling while incorporating familiar items, such as macrame, is a breath of fresh air to wedding and event design. We love how comfortable the display feels, while retaining a formal heir. Leilani’s passion for photography developed since childhood, as she often saw her mother with camera in hand and gathering family together for photos. Weddings became a favorite subject, with each one being so different and beautiful. For Leilani, being a wedding photographer is a gift because she gets to capture a such a special part of life for a couple. Capturing the nervous excitement and joy and pareticularly moments between the father and the bride, are a few of her favorite parts. When she’s not photographing, she travels with her family (most recently to New York). We are so happy to have her again as our featured photographer and can’t wait for everyone to see her work!
